Bio: Ben Johnson
Field CTO – Americas, Digital Shadows
Ben is a passionate technologist with over 20 years of professional experience in a wide range of organizations and industries. He began his information technology career in early 1996 and has since held key technical and leadership positions at entities such as Morgan Stanley, Zions Bancorporation, and Harman International. Prior to joining Digital Shadows, he served as Chief Security Officer at Datashield where he was responsible for all aspects of information security both for Datashield and a large number of clients.
Ben spent a large portion of his career working for large corporations, eventually taking a different direction in 2011 were he joined a value-added reseller named Integrated Business Solutions. It was here where he helped build a successful and profitable security practice which eventually led to Integrated Business Solutions acquisition by Datashield in 2015. In his free time he owns and works on a number of large vehicles, builds electronic projects (especially when it comes to radio and telecommunications), does infosec research, and is a long-time participant in Defcon and Burning Man.

Senior Manager of Product Marketing, Digital Shadows
Michael Marriott leads Product Marketing at Digital Shadows, which he joined in late 2014. Michael has a passion for security analysis and the trends they indicate, in order to better protect clients. He has written several articles and papers regarding external threat management, and his research is regularly featured in the press. He holds a BA in History and a Masters in Applied Security and Strategy, both from the University of Exeter.
