Assisting the Rural Communities with Vulnerability Assessment
As part of learning and applying cybersecurity knowledge and skills, Boise State University’s Cyber Operations and Resilience undergraduate degree capstone assists rural communities with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments. Working with our mentors and coordinating with local contacts, our students conduct the assessment. This collaboration is designed not only to benefit the rural entities by improving their cybersecurity practices, but also to provide students with a hands-on, real-world learning experience. I invite you to attend this session to learn more about what the students are doing and how you can contribute to this effort.
