Sin Ming Loo & Lee Neely

Dr. S. M. Loo is the Cyber Operations and Resilience (CORe) Program Director. He is also a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boise State University. He holds a joint-appointment with Idaho National Laboratory.

Lee is a senior IT and security professional at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory with many years of extensive experience with a wide variety of technology and applications from point implementations to enterprise solutions. He currently leads LLNL’s Entrust team and is the Information Assurance Associate Program Leader as well as lead for new technology adoption specializing in mobility. He teaches cyber security courses, and holds many security certifications, is President of the Boise ISSA chapter, ISSA International Board Member, and the former president of the ISC2 Eastbay Chapter

Abstract

Those in search of potential employees should consider attending this event. Likewise, individuals interested in entering the field of cybersecurity should also consider participating. The discussion will focus on methods and locations for identifying prospective team members. We will address the steps one can take to adequately prepare for new career opportunities. The primary focus of this event is to engage in conversations regarding internship and mentorship opportunities.
